As the world's first quality association to do so, GSB is now offering a seal that provides clear and reliable information on the quality of coated aluminium. Architects and project planners now have a planning aid that considers all the requirements that are to be met by high-quality coated aluminium. A code number is generated that makes it possible, even decades later, to determine precisely who was involved in the coating of the aluminium part. Hans Jürgen Alfort, GSB Honorary Chairman, pointed out: "We don’t want to give the world more seals and labels that only provide limited information about the quality of the coated aluminium. Our new project seal leaves no questions unanswered. The details of the pre-treatment, material supplier and coater are readable at any time."
