With 537 exhibitors from 29 countries PaintExpo presented itself from April 17 to 20, 2018 in Karlsruhe, Germany, big and international like never before. Also with the visitors the organizer announces a record. 11,790 visitors came to the seventh edition of the world's leading trade fair for industrial coating technology, an increase of 12 percent. In total, trade visitors from 88 countries (74 countries in 2016) came to PaintExpo. In addition to Germany, the strongest visitor nations were Switzerland, Italy, France, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Turkey. On the exhibitor side too, PaintExpo has become more international. Exhibitors were represented from 29 countries. The fair took place for the first time in three evenly occupied halls, and was able to grow by around 17 percent to 15,674 square meters in net exhibition space. "The high level of internationality and the noticeably positive atmosphere in the halls as well as satisfied faces at the exhibition stands are clear signs of the success of PaintExpo 2018 as the world's leading trade fair," notes Jürgen Haußmann, Managing Director of FairFair GmbH and organizer of PaintExpo. Characteristic of the success of the trade fair were the quantity and internationality of the visitors as well as their expertise and willingness to invest. The atmosphere in the halls was correspondingly good over the four days of the fair. The next PaintExpo will take place from 21 to 24 April 2020 in Karlsruhe, Germany.
