Adphos has modernized its in-house application technology center. At the headquarters in Bruckmühl, the company’s customers and experts now have access to a well-equipped pilot plant for trials and training purposes in extended premises.
With additional aNIR equipment, a wide range of applications can be simulated. This makes it possible to simulate and improve almost all thermal drying, heating, sintering, or curing scenarios. The possible applications range from thin-layer drying processes to thick-layer films. The latter are particularly important in battery production. Low-viscosity fluids, slurries, powder coatings, aqueous and solvent-based applications can also be tested in operationally relevant drying tests.
With the renewal of the technical center, the company, which is active in thermal process optimization, wants to respond more efficiently and with greater focus to customer wishes and their requirements. The system is modular and customized to the respective temperature-controlled processes. Precise inline measurements allow the development of further applications to be advanced even before industrial implementation. The company also offers a wide range of rental equipment and demonstration systems that are available to customers for on-site tests.
