BASF and the research and development center of the Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. Ltd. (GAC R&D Center) on November 17, 2018, presented three jointly developed electric concept vehicles with a trend-setting design that are tailored to the different needs of Chinese motorists. The two-seaters, which were presented for the first time at the Guangzhou 2018 International Motor Show, were developed by the GAC R&D Center with the support of the prototype and materials expertise of BASF's design factory. The vehicles were designed to meet the requirements and wishes of a wide variety of target groups such as seniors and women. In addition, these vehicles take into account the increasingly popular urban mobility concept of car sharing. The spectrum of innovations ranges from integrated air purification and seat covers to materials for the bodies and batteries of electric vehicles. Car paints from BASF underscore the individual style of the concept vehicles.
