Gas-catalytic heating panels release medium to long-wave infrared radiation in a catalytic reaction. This can be used for heating processes such as paint drying. Heraeus Noblelight has now further developed the conventional panels. With the new panels (Catalytic HE), the structure has been optimized so that panels of this type achieve a surface temperature that is up to 100 °C higher. The reason is a more efficient use of the gas with the same gas consumption. This accelerates heating and temperature control. Measurements on prototypes have shown that the optimized panels reach the target temperature up to 60 seconds earlier than conventional gas catalytic heating panels. This makes the panels ideal for upgrading existing plants that are to produce faster or more.
