When life is complex and we are exposed to a flood of information, we need spaces that offer us the simplicity to clear our heads and relax. In this context, Akzonobel introduces Sweet Embrace, Interpon’s Color of the Year 2024, a soft shade of grey with a hint of purple and a subtle metallic effect - a color that is intended to be both understated and liberating. It is being launched as part of a complementary palette that will transform exteriors, interiors, lighting, furniture, and furnishings in a variety of sectors. The palette includes blues, greens, and natural browns in metallic, smooth, and finely textured effects reminiscent of sea and forest tones. Designers and architects from around the world, as well as Akzonobel’s Global Aesthetics Center, have drawn on more than three decades of color research and analysis to ensure that the color of the year 2024 and its palette are on trend.
