As general contractor, Eisenmann takes over the capacity expansion of the paint shop of one of the world's largest truck manufacturers at its location in the east of the USA. The major contract includes the construction of a new pre-treatment plant including buildings and the expansion of the existing paint shop. The conversion is scheduled for completion in summer 2020. Pretreatment and cataphoretic dip painting will be accommodated in a new building and equipped with the E-Shuttle 200 body dip conveyor system. Eisenmann will also supply the KTL dryers. In addition to the new pre-treatment, the plant manufacturer will also make modifications to the existing painting plant so that the truck manufacturer can increase its capacity from 40,000 to 77,000 painted trucks per year. These include a new paint booth with E-Cube separation technology. The scope of supply also includes dryer conveyors, a new paint mixing room, two exhaust air cleaning systems and the modular cleaning system Smart Clean, which is being used for the first time on the American market. "The order shows that with clever modifications in the right places, an existing paint shop can be quickly and efficiently expanded and made more flexible and resource-saving," says Timo Steimer, Sales Manager NAFTA Region at Eisenmann.
