Otmar Monreal retired on 1 January 2020. Over the years, Otmar Monreal led the company Alufinish GmbH + Co KG Andernach, which specializes in metal chemistry, from a small medium-sized business to a globally successful company together with his partner Jürgen Lutter. With a view to a later succession, Dr. Nils Monreal and Stephan Zegers joined the company as management assistants in 2013. In cooperation with Otmar Monreal they were able to familiarize themselves with all areas of the company. The takeover of the management does not bring any significant changes in Alufinish's philosophy. Dr. Nils Monreal, who holds a doctorate in process engineering, is primarily responsible for the operational side of the company. Stephan Zegers has experience in the global aluminium B2B environment and will focus on further global development. The common goal is to further advance the business development and to expand the worldwide network for the distribution of chemical pretreatment products.
