Powder feeding, control and electrostatics in one device: A new powder management centre from Gema Switzland requires little space and is designed to simplify operation, control and cleaning. The injector is located directly on the control unit, eliminating the need for pneumatic lines between the injector and the control unit. The powder management centre can control up to 36 guns and supply them with powder. Since no control cabinet is needed anymore, the footprint is much smaller compared to previous models. The fusion of control and powder feed should enable high cleaning efficiency as well as extremely short response times of the powder output. The latter ensures instant control of the powder cloud, which improves coating quality and reduces powder consumption. The new system is particularly interesting for applications with exact gap control and for demanding coatings with robots.
