Surface service provider Oerlikon Balzers recently inaugurated a new coating center in Dongguan, China. In Dongguan, a significantly larger production area was needed to cope with the rapidly increasing order volume of recent years. The new customer center, whose production area is three times larger than before, is the second largest in China and one of 111 coating centers in 35 countries worldwide. The move to the new site is part of the company's long-term growth strategy. Oerlikon Balzers has invested in the latest coating equipment and technologies and recruited new employees.
