Wagner, a premium supplier of coating technology, has established a new subsidiary based in Pune, Maharashtra, western India. “With our new company in India, we are strongly strengthening our local presence in a very dynamic environment, can react quickly to the requirements of our Indian customers and offer them our special Wagner service,” confirms Sven Hoose, Vice President Sales Middle East, Asia & India at Wagner. Guido Bergman, who manages the group of companies under the umbrella of Wagner International AG together with Michael Müller, adds: “J. Wagner India Pvt. Ltd. is a clear commitment from us to the Asian market and underlines the strategic importance of India as the third largest economic power in the world in the near future.”
From Pune, the company supports partners and customers from the industrial coating sector as well as craftsmen and DIY users in the decorative finishing sector. Due to its regional location, Pune offers good access to the markets of Southeast Asia, where the companies J. Wagner Pvt. Ltd, Pune, and J. Wagner Company Ltd, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, will operate synergistically. A large number of projects have already been realized jointly in India.
The new company in India has started with 15 specialists under the leadership of Director Amar Koppa and will be strengthened by additional employees. His team of experts attaches particular importance to being always available locally to deal with customer inquiries. The exchange with customers and interested parties is supplemented by the company’s own Academy, additional service training courses and an Experience Center.
