A new, fully automatic filter system Pure-Filtration CW has been developed for parts cleaning systems in the metal and glass industry. The system enables a constantly clean cleaning water. The self-cleaning filters significantly extend the service life of the process water, resulting in virtually zero chemical consumption and a significant reduction in water and energy consumption. The filter system is designed for cleaning plants where very clean water (< 1 micron) is required for high-precision cleaning processes. Conventional filtration methods (filter bags, centrifuges, cartridges) do not adequately meet today's increasing demands for surface quality, environmental aspects and process reliability. The concept is based on cross-flow filtration.
