In the automotive and paint industry, color changes have increased constantly due to individualization, greater color variety and special customer requests. At the same time, batch sizes were reduced to batch size 1. This places ever higher demands on manufacturers and operators of paint shops. The particular challenge is to rinse the painting systems and pumps optimally and in the shortest possible time in order to increase production availability. It is also important to reduce the amount of paint and cleaning agents remaining. Against this background, Timmer has developed a new pump version (MHD 1050) in which the media valves have been optimized, the flow of the medium within the pump improved and the residual filling volume reduced. The result is a significantly better flushing result. The integrated, intelligent sensor enables smart integration into the overall system.
