On the occasion of parts2clean, Richard Geiss presented the newly developed stabilizer Cleanstab S for modified alcohols. This stops acid formation in the cleaning system and reduces acid already formed. Acidification or even self-decomposition of the solvent used can be avoided and the service life of the modified alcohols significantly increased. The Cleanstab S therefore prevents corrosion damage and surface oxidation. The requirements for each plant and each user are determined and determined individually in the Geiss laboratory at the company headquarters in Offingen. Another innovation is the Geiss Digital Indexer for modified alcohols and hydrocarbons. It determines the concentration of corrosion protection oils in the solvent bath. This enables companies to efficiently monitor whether their parts are sufficiently preserved for later storage.
