On 1 October 2017 the Thermo-Clean Group acquired Multi Presta Service in Bartenheim, France. The Alsace-based company will in future do business under the name Thermo-Clean France S.A.S. – Site Alsace. The Thermo-Clean Group specialises in chemical and thermal paint stripping and now has ten sites. Multi Presta Service has been providing thermal cleaning and paint stripping services since 1986. The business is ideally located close to the borders of Germany, France and Switzerland and is one of the most important paint stripping companies in the area. As Robert Mol, general manager of Thermo-Clean, explains: "The company offers us huge potential for future growth. We will be investing in the site this year in order to bring the facilities up to date." The Bartenheim site cleans contaminated parts from the plastics and petrochemical industries, including heat exchangers, filters and extruder components.
