A new type of zinc flake coating with embedded micro- and nanoparticles is currently being investigated by the German University Südwestfalen Iserlohn together with Chemische Fabrik Wocklum, Hillebrand Chemicals and DOK Chemie. Effective September 4, 2018, the Supervisory Board of Axalta Coating Systems has appointed Terrence Hahn as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Two colours, one pass: Audi is expanding its range of painting processes to include overspray-free painting (Ofla). This technology makes it possible to paint certain surfaces of a body in a different colour – in one and the same painting process.
